First, we used python to organize and clean the data obtained by the survey, and after removing the dirty data, we finally got 890 pieces of data. Then, according to the different positions of the respondents, we divide the respondents into two categories: employees in the IT department and employees in the business department, and label them with data. Finally, we generated three word cloud maps of respondents' cognition of BI definition through python's word segmentation library jibe and word cloud library word loud, namely overall cognition, cognition of employees in IT department, and cognition of employees in business department.
As shown in Figure 1, Figure 2 and Figure 3, respectively. 2. Analysis of the results 1. Overall perception As can be seen in Figure 1, the respondents' overall perception of the definition of BI can be understood as "data", "analysis", "data analysis", "report", "business", "enterprise", "decision-making", Keywords such as "intelligence", "tools", "display", "visualization", etc. First of all, the keywords "enterprise", "decision" and "tool" indicate that the public has a relatively Fax List accurate understanding of the role and purpose of BI, which is a tool to assist enterprise decision-making. Secondly, keywords such as "data", "analysis" and "data analysis" reflect that the public's cognition of BI focuses on the function of data analysis, and even equates BI with a data analysis tool.
In fact, BI also includes data warehouse, data ETL and other functions, covering the entire process from data processing to display. Moreover, the construction of the underlying data warehouse is also very important, which can provide strong support for subsequent data analysis and make the data analysis results more accurate. In addition, the keywords "display" and "visualization" also reveal another important function of BI, namely data visualization. Displaying data analysis results in a more intuitive and clear way through data visualization can provide decision makers with clearer and more in-depth insights.
